Uncle Kofi's Shed: A Plural Nouns Play
Read a short play and fix, sort and write plural nouns.

Read the play
Read the play. Each numbered line is one character speaking.
The Big Shed Cleanup
1Uncle Kofi: Thank you both for helping me clean my shed today. Nobody has cleaned it in years, so watch out for spiders and their webs!
2Lena: Look at these shelves. They are covered in dust. I see jars of nails, old paintbrushes, and a pile of rusty keys.
3Mateo: Here are two rakes. This one is missing three of its teeth! Can we fix it?
4Uncle Kofi: That rake is older than you are. Two men who lived here before me left it behind, along with lots of other tools.
5Lena: What is in this crate? I found seed packets for tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers.
6Mateo: This box holds three flashlights, but none of the batteries work.
7Uncle Kofi: We will buy new batteries at the store. Now let's sweep the floor. Grab the brooms and the dustpans.
8Lena: Wait! There is a nest on the top shelf, and I see three tiny eggs in it.
9Uncle Kofi: Let's leave that shelf alone. When the chicks grow up and fly away, we will clean it. You two worked as hard as ten people today!
10Mateo: Then can we have a snack? I saw a bowl of peaches in the kitchen.
