At the Brick Club Table
1Every Thursday after school, the Brick Club meets in Room 12. Ms. Ruiz, the art teacher, runs the club. This week, Dev, Hana and Ms. Ruiz planned the club's next project. Here is what they said out loud.
2Dev said, "Um, so I'm gonna build, like, a giant castle. Ya know, with towers and stuff."
3Hana said, "Ooh, yeah! And a moat. Put it right here." She tapped the table with her finger.
4Ms. Ruiz asked, "Great ideas! Who wants to bring extra blue bricks?"
5Dev waved his hand. "Me! I got tons of 'em."
Brick Club News
Next Thursday, our club will start building a castle. It will have four tall towers and a moat around the outside. Dev will bring extra blue bricks for the water. Please bring your own building plates if you have them. We will meet in Room 12 from 3:15 to 4:30. Everyone is welcome to help. The castle will sit in the front hall display case when it is done.
