Why Visit the Library?
A library is a place full of books, and it is a great place for kids to visit. This article makes three points to show why.
First, the library saves you money. You can borrow books without paying for them. When you bring one back, you can choose a new one. A kid can read many books this way and spend nothing.
Librarians know a lot about books, and they like to share ideas. Books on the shelves are grouped by kind, so all the animal books sit together. If you love animals, you can go straight to that shelf. These reasons show the second point: the library helps you find books you will love.
Third, the library has more than books. Many libraries lend movies and music, too. Many also have story time and games for children. Some even have computers you can use.
A trip to the library is worth it. It saves money, it helps you pick great books, and it gives you fun things to do.
