Nina and the Bean Seeds

Nina planted three bean seeds in a pot. She gave them water and put the pot by the window.

The next day, Nina looked in the pot. Nothing was there. She frowned. "Where are my beans?" she asked.

Grandma smiled. "Seeds grow slowly," she said. "Give them time." So Nina waited. She watered the pot each morning.

One sunny morning, a tiny green sprout popped up. Soon two more came up. Nina clapped. "I am so glad I waited!" she said.
