Ruby and the Flower Pot

Ruby liked to bounce her red ball in front of her building. One day, she bounced it too hard.

The ball hit Mr. Tran's flower pot. Crash! The pot broke, and dirt spilled on the steps.

Ruby looked around. No one had seen. She wanted to run home and hide. But her tummy felt funny.

Ruby knocked on Mr. Tran's door. "I broke your pot," she said. "I am sorry." Mr. Tran nodded. "Thank you for telling me the truth," he said.

Together they put the flower in a new pot. Ruby felt much better.
