How to Wash Your Hands

Germs are so tiny that you cannot see them. Some germs can make you sick. Washing your hands with soap and water helps get rid of germs.

Here is how to wash your hands. First, wet your hands with clean water. Next, rub soap all over them. Scrub the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. Keep scrubbing while you count slowly to twenty.

Then rinse your hands under the water. Last, dry them with a clean towel.

When should you wash your hands? Wash them before you eat or help make food. Wash them after you use the bathroom or play outside. Wash them after you sneeze or blow your nose.
