The Art Club Photo Booth

Lupita and Quincy are in the art club. This week they are building a photo booth for the class party on Friday. They paint a big box blue and cut a window in the front.

First, they unfold a long sheet of paper and tape it on the back wall. Next, Quincy writes a label for the prop box. Oops! He mislabels it. The label says "Hats," but the box is full of funny glasses. Quincy peels off the label and relabels the box.

Then they test the camera. Nothing happens, because the cord is disconnected. Lupita plugs it back in. Click! Lupita is unready, and her eyes are closed in the photo. "Let's retake it," she says. The next photo comes out with a purple stripe across it. "That is a misprint," says Quincy. They reprint it, and this time it looks great.

At the end of the day, the art room is untidy. The friends pick up the paper scraps and unplug the printer. Now the booth is ready for the party.
