A Trail Study

Waterfall Turn is a rest stop on a mountain trail in the northern United States. A trail helper named Imani made a daylight record there. Daylight is the time from sunrise to sunset.

Imani chose one day near the start of each season. She kept the place the same and changed the season. She used local sunrise and sunset records to find about how many hours of daylight each day had.

Imani made the picture rows below. The sun pictures count daylight hours. They do not tell whether the weather was sunny or cloudy.
