Washing Lolo's Truck

1Theo calls his grandpa Lolo. Lolo has a big red truck. On Saturday, the truck was covered in mud, so Theo and Lolo washed it.

2Lolo filled a bucket with warm water and soap. Theo dipped a sponge in the bucket and scrubbed the doors. Bubbles slid down to the ground.

3Next, Lolo turned on the hose to rinse off the soap. Oops! The water sprayed Theo instead. Theo laughed and shook his wet hair like a dog.

4Then Theo wiped the windows with a soft towel until they were shiny.

5"Thank you, helper!" said Lolo. They drove the clean truck to the store and bought two ice pops.
