A Two-Part Plan

Cactus Lantern City has a big plaza. Room 4 wanted to plan a Cool Ideas Day. Students talked about showing their inventions at school and inviting families to a science fair in the city plaza. Principal Rosa Vega listened to the school part of the plan. She could help choose a school room, a day, and teachers to help. Mayor Jamal Reed listened to the city part. He could work with city workers to prepare the plaza and help choose a safe place for the fair. The class wrote two notes. One note went to Principal Rosa, and one went to Mayor Jamal. The students learned that leaders help with plans in the places they lead.
