Citizens of Ravenstep

Ravenstep is a mountain town built between two steep ridges. The town has a shared community center, a small market, and an overlook where people can see the valley. Each spring, residents work together to care for these places.

Some residents volunteer at the community center. They sort donated coats by size and place them in a closet for neighbors who need warm clothing. Other volunteers carry boxes of food from the market to the center. They give their time without being paid for that work.

Ravenstep also has laws that help keep people safe. At the overlook, people must stay behind the railing and obey signs when a path is closed. Drivers slow down near the market because people cross there. Citizens respect others by taking turns, listening when someone speaks, and leaving room for people to pass.

These actions may look small, but they help many people share the town. A volunteer gives time, a law follower helps keep a place safe, and a respectful neighbor helps others feel welcome.
