Band Room Mix-Up

Nadia has band practice at noon. Her drum isn't in the music room. The band's music stands are still stacked by the wall. Nadia checks every shelf, and her friend Theo helps her look.

"I can't find it," says Theo. "Let's check the closet." Nadia opens the door and sees a drum with a bright red stripe. "That's it!" she cries.

Ana walks in with a smile. She put the drum in the closet so no one would trip on it. Together they carry it back to Nadia's chair.

At noon the band begins to play. The children in the hall clap and cheer. They're happy to hear the music. Behind the drum, Nadia's hands move fast, and she smiles.
