Work on Windward Isle

Windward Isle is home to families, shops, and workers. At the Palm Basket Shop, Ana weaves baskets. Customers pay for the baskets, so Ana earns money by working. A basket is a good because a customer can take it home.

At the Lantern Repair Room, Beau fixes lanterns and radios. People pay Beau to do the fixing. Repairing something for another person is a service.

After work, Ana uses some money she earned to buy a rain hat. She also pays a music teacher for a lesson. Beau uses some money he earned to buy lunch. He pays for a package delivery across the island. At both places, customers pay workers for work they do.
