Rosa Makes Two Choices

Foxrun is a small farm town. On Farm Day, Rosa has 4 dollars to spend on wants at the town square. She wants a seed packet and a jar of jam. The two wants together cost more than the money she has, so Rosa chooses the seed packet and gives up the jam.

Rosa also has a time choice. At 11:10, the butter-churning demonstration and the seed-art table both begin. Each activity takes 20 minutes. Rosa's family will meet at 11:30. She chooses the seed-art table, so she gives up the demonstration. Rosa knows that choosing one want can mean leaving another want for later.
