Two Places on Moonseed Island

Moonseed Island has two places where people get goods they need. At the Palm-Leaf Workshop, Talia weaves mats and Jun makes fishing nets. They are producers because they make goods. People who use the mats and nets are consumers. At the Sandbar Store, Niko gives rice to Asha after she pays with shell coins. This is trade with money. Asha uses the rice to cook dinner. One day, Talia needs a net and Jun needs a mat. Talia gives Jun a mat, and Jun gives Talia a net. They exchange goods without money. This is barter. Later, Talia uses the net to fish.
