Helpers at the winter hall

Listen as your teacher reads the passage. Then answer the questions.

A Busy Saturday in Hearthlake

Hearthlake is a snowy northern town. On cold Saturdays, neighbors visit the Winter Welcome Hall. Tessa runs a small bakery there. She sells loaves of bread. Bread is a good because people can take it home. Omar makes warm mittens and sells pairs. Mittens are goods, too.

Niko fixes boots at a repair table. A boot repair is a service because Niko does work for a customer. Ana drives the town's sled shuttle. A ride is a service because Ana helps carry people from one place to another. A graph at the hall shows how many of each offering these providers gave or completed this week.
