Families Near the Repair Shed

Jules and Priya watched animals from inside a community bike shop. Behind the repair shed, a fox family rested under stacked logs. On Monday morning, the mother fox left. The kits stayed under the logs. She came back with food, and the kits gathered around her.

Later, a bike bell rang near the shed. The mother fox gave a short bark. The kits crouched under the logs. On Tuesday, the same steps happened: the mother left, returned with food, and barked when the bell rang. The kits gathered for food and crouched after the bark.

Near the shop fence, a skunk mother walked with three young skunks. The young stayed close behind her. When a delivery cart rolled near, the mother stamped her front feet. The young stopped and tucked under a low bush. The mother then walked along the fence, and the young followed her.
