Two Texts About Frogs

Listen to two texts

Your teacher reads Text 1 and Text 2. Listen for how they are alike and how they are different.

Text 1: What Frogs Do

A frog has long back legs. It can jump far! It can swim, too. It kicks its legs in the water.

A frog eats bugs. It sits still and waits. Then it catches a bug with its long, sticky tongue.

Text 2: How Frogs Grow

A frog starts as an egg in the water. The egg hatches into a tadpole.

A tadpole has a tail and swims in the water. Next, the tadpole grows legs. Its tail gets shorter. At last, it is a frog!
