A Map of Rillstone
At the center of a map is Rillstone, a town beside a river. Granite Mountain rises north of the town. Fern Valley is lower land between two high ridges of Granite Mountain, just north of Rillstone. West of town is Mirror Lake. Its water is still and enclosed by land.
East of Rillstone stretches Sunplain, a wide, level area. Bluewater River begins in Fern Valley. It flows south past Rillstone and then east across Sunplain. At the eastern edge of the map, it meets a huge body of water called the ocean. A small piece of land sits in the ocean near shore, with water on every side.
The map key says that a mountain is high land, a valley is lower land between higher land, and a plain is wide, level land. A river is flowing water. A lake is still water enclosed by land. An island is land surrounded by water, and an ocean is a huge body of water.
