Our Sketch Walk

1During art club, Ms. Lee said,
"Bring your pencils. Let's go out!"
We walked along the hall and through
the door with a happy shout.

2I sat beneath the maple tree
and drew the swings beside the slide.
Jun drew the hill beyond the fence,
so green and round and wide.

3A robin hopped across the grass,
then flew toward its nest.
Nia drew it flying high
above the trees. I liked hers best!

4After the walk, we hung our sketches
on the wall right by the door.
Now we just can't wait to go
outside and draw some more!
