Silent e on the Obstacle Course

Stretch the sounds, add a silent e, and pick c or k.

Silent e

A silent e at the end of a word makes the vowel say its name, as in tap and tape. The silent e makes no sound. In the sound clues, a line over a vowel, like /ā/, means the vowel says its name. A vowel with no line, like /a/, is short.
