The Shoebox Meadow

3Kai and Lucia cut a stream out of blue paper. They glued five shiny fish in the water. Next, they made two deer with twig legs. Each deer stood on four tiny clay feet.

4Rosa and Ben made a fluffy sheep out of cotton balls. Then they made three more sheep for the green hill. Last, Ben cut tiny white teeth out of paper. He glued two on each mouse.

5When the meadow was done, all the children crowded around the shoebox. "It looks like a real meadow!" said Jada.
