Weather Check
Hana and Desmond went out to the weather station with Mr. Okafor. Hana held up the rain gauge, a tube that catches rain. "This rain gauge is empty," she said.
Desmond pointed to the wind sock on a tall pole across the yard. "That wind sock is full of air," he said. "The wind is strong today."
Mr. Okafor looked up at the sky. He pointed to gray clouds far away. "Those clouds might bring rain later," he said.
Hana bent down and picked up two leaves. "These leaves are dry and crunchy," she said.
