Our Kazoo Band

1Our class has a kazoo band.
We each hold one in our hand.
We do not blow. We hum a tune,
And all of us are buzzing soon.

2Raj hums high, and Kim hums low.
Ana hums fast, and Ben hums slow.
"Let's hum together," says Mr. Gray.
"One, two, three, now let's all play!"

3But Lily's kazoo makes no sound.
She frowns and turns it all around.
Ben whispers, "Hum, and do not blow."
She hums. It buzzes! Off we go!

4At family night, we hum our song.
We buzz it loud, and buzz it long.
Our families clap. They cheer and yell.
We take a bow. We played so well!
