Pom-Poms at Craft Club

Hana and Mateo go to craft club after school. Mr. Diaz shows them a fluffy pom-pom. "Today you will each make one," he says.

Hana picks red yarn. Mateo picks green yarn. They wrap the yarn around a fork, over and over. The yarn gets fat and thick.

Next, Mr. Diaz ties a short string around the middle. Mateo cuts the loops with scissors. Snip, snip! Hana fluffs the yarn with her fingers.

Hana puts her red pom-pom on her winter hat. Mateo gives his green one to his baby sister. She giggles and pats it.
