The Drip in the Sink

Drip, drop, drip! Liz sits up in bed. The tap in the sink will not stop. Liz gets up to check.

Liz grabs a big pot and sets it in the sink. Plunk! A drop hits the pot. Plunk, plunk, plunk! It is as loud as a drum!

Mom gets up. She hands Liz a soft rag. Liz drops the rag in the pot. Now the drips land on the rag. Not a plunk! Liz and Mom get back in bed.

In the morning, Mr. Kemp comes with a black bag. He spins the top off the tap and puts in a new part. Then he tests it. Not one drip! "Thanks, Mr. Kemp!" says Liz.
