Light Checks at the Bike Shop

What did the shop team see?

Listen to the observations from the bike shop. Use them to answer the questions.

Two Places in the Shop

Anika and Mateo checked three objects at a community bike shop: a yellow helmet, a silver bell, and a battery tail light. They carried the same objects to two places.

At the front window, daylight shone on the objects. The children saw the helmet, the bell, and the tail light. The tail light was switched off.

In the repair nook, the door was closed and the room was dark. The helmet and bell were not seen. The tail light was switched on, and the children saw its bright light.

Next, Mateo aimed a repair lamp at the bell in the dark nook. The bell was seen while the lamp shone on it. The helmet stayed in a dark spot.
