The Supply Chest
Seabright is a small harbor town. Jo, the lighthouse keeper, checks a supply chest before a storm. She puts in clean water, bread, dry shirts, and blankets. The lighthouse has a warm room where boat crews can rest out of the wind and rain. The warm room is a shelter. At a harbor stall, Jo sees shell bracelets, toy boats, and bright flags. Visitors enjoy choosing these things, but Jo leaves them outside the chest.
