Snip, Rip, Stick!

1Snip, snip, snip!
My scissors cut a strip.
A strip of red, a strip of blue,
a crinkly strip of silver too.

2Rrrrip! goes the yellow sheet.
I tear the edges, soft and neat.
Dab, dab, dab, just one small dot.
Too much glue makes a sticky spot!

3I press it down and count to three.
Oh no! The strip is stuck on me!
I flick my finger, flick it twice.
Plop! It lands. Now that is nice.

4What will it be? A boat? A hat?
I tip my head and look at that.
Two pointy ears, a curly tail,
and silver whiskers, long and pale.
