Sefa's Hallway Whale

Sefa made a pretend whale from a long box, blue paper, and round eyes. She wanted it to be enormous, which means very big.

She added wide fins and a long tail. Her dad held the box while she taped the parts.

A heading at the top of her sign said, “Our Enormous Whale.” A heading is a title at the top. Under the picture, a caption said, “Sefa’s whale can float in a pretend sea.” A caption tells about a picture.

The whale could not fit through the door. Sefa had a plan. She took off the tail, carried the body out, and put the tail back on. It was ready for the hallway parade. Sefa learned that enormous means very big.
