The heading says, “Fia Can Hop.” Fia is a flamingo. She sees a hopscotch game on the court.
“I want to play!” says Fia. She lifts one foot. She tips to one side. “My legs are so long!”
“Go slow,” says her pal Duck. “Hold your wings out.”
Fia spreads her wings. Now she is steady. She can stand without tipping. Hop, hop! She lands in a square.
Nessa writes about Fia's hop. Oren draws Fia with her wings out. The caption under his picture says, “Fia can do it!”
