Nana's Spot in the Book

Emi and Dad made a book for Nana. They put in pictures of their family picnic. The heading on the first page said, "Our Picnic."

One spot was blank. "We have no picture of Nana!" said Emi. "She took the pictures," said Dad.

Emi got her crayons. "I can draw her!" She drew Nana on a red mat. She drew a pear in Nana's hand. Dad put the drawing in the blank spot.

The caption under it said, "Nana at our picnic."

Nana came to see the book. "There I am!" she said. She gave Emi and Dad a big hug. "Now our whole family is in the book," said Emi.
