A Blink in Two Texts
Two short texts use different pictures and details to explain how blinking and tears help our eyes.
Play the quiz as a gameText 1 has the heading “A Quick Blink.” Its photo shows an eye open and an eye shut.
When you blink, your lids shut and open fast. A blink spreads tears over your eyes. The tears help keep your eyes wet.
Text 2 has the heading “Tears at Work.” Its drawing shows a tear on an eye.
A bit of dust can get in your eye. Tears help wash the dust out. When you blink, your lids spread the tears. Blinking helps your eyes stay clean.
