The Bent Game Card

Nia and Dad play a game. Nia puts the cards away. One card will not fit. She gives it a push. The card bends.

The first picture shows Nia by the box. She holds the bent card. Dad is at the sink.

Nia wants to hide the card. Then she stops. She walks to Dad. "I bent this," she says.

The next picture shows Nia giving Dad the card. Its caption says, "Nia tells the truth."

"Thank you for being honest," Dad says. They press the card flat under a heavy book.

The last picture shows Nia and Dad at the table. The card is flat. They can play again.
