Bram was a city dog. He went into an elevator with Ana. They were going to see her aunt on the top floor.
The elevator gave a soft hum. Bram sat low. He had not been in this little room before. Then the room began to rise.
"I am here," Ana said. Her voice helped Bram relax. He leaned on her leg. At the top, he ran out to greet her aunt. His tail wagged.
The second story has the heading "Dottie Rolls Out."
Dottie was a country dog. She rode in a tractor with Luis. Her crate was held in place inside the cab. They were going to a field. This was her first tractor ride.
The tractor gave a big bump. Dottie sat low. "I am here," Luis said. His voice helped her relax. She looked out at the rows of corn. Her tail wagged.
