The Spoon's Dot Soup Plan
A chef and a talking spoon find a colorful new plan for soup when their pea bag is empty.
Play the quiz as a gameCHEF ZELI: (sets a pot on the table) Let's plan dot soup! I will write Dot Soup as the heading at the top of our plan.
SPOON: (looks in a bag) The pea bag is empty. Not one green dot is left.
CHEF ZELI: Oh, no! Peas were my dots. What else can we use?
SPOON: We have yellow corn. It can make little dots.
CHEF ZELI: Good! And I can cut thin slices of carrot. They will be flat, round dots.
SPOON: (taps the plan) Draw those dots so we can see our soup.
CHEF ZELI: (draws a bowl) Here is our picture. I will add a caption under it. The words say, “Yellow and orange dots.”
SPOON: Our soup will look like a party in a pot!
CHEF ZELI: I will cook the soup. Will you help me stir?
SPOON: Yes! That is the best job for a spoon.
